Prenatal Consultation

Our Prenatal Breastfeeding Consult is designed to support and empower you as you prepare for your breastfeeding journey. In this personalized session, we will:

  • Set Breastfeeding Goals, discuss proper latching, create a personalized breastfeeding plan, and answer any questions you may have about breastfeeding and the benefits to you and your baby.

    60 minutes (in home or virtual)

  • $125 hospital plan included

Initial Consultation

During your initial consultation with Root and Bloom Lactation, you can expect a thorough and personalized approach to address your breastfeeding needs. The session typically includes:

  • In-Depth Health History, birth story discussion, feeding assessment, tongue and lip tie assessment, customized care plan, latch assessment, and a Q&A session to address any concerns.

This comprehensive initial consultation sets the foundation for a successful breastfeeding journey, providing you with the knowledge and confidence to nurture your baby through breastfeeding.

90 minutes (in home or virtual)

  • $175 (virtual $150)

Follow Up Consult

Follow Up Consult

  • The follow-up consultations aim to assess and adjust the breastfeeding plan for the nursing dyad.

  • These consultations are crucial for problem-solving any challenges that may have surfaced.

  • Topics such as returning to work, pumping strategies, and addressing other emerging issues can be discussed.
